Jack-Jack

Jackenson- Jack-Jack- came to us in January. His family brought him to a medical clinic. He was very malnourished and had to be force fed at first, but God had sent Cristina to love and care for him during those first difficult days.
This was our first post about him:
Jack-Jack (Peanut)-
at 23 months old and 15 lbs he was weak and lethargic on arrival at the clinic, but with Cristina's loving mommy skills, he discovered peanut butter & other yummy things & even soon learned to have preferences- Praise God for his returning strength & playful spirit! He now crawls around everywhere trying to keep up with the other toddlers. He isn't walking yet, but doesn't let that slow him down! His aunt and grandmother have each visited him sporadically, sometimes willing to touch him or hold him- other times unwilling. He will remain at the orphanage where his progress can be closely monitored until he is much stronger.
He is doing very well, now. He smiles, laughs, plays with the other children.... and just last week he started walking! Praise God!
